That is decided by the problem, the skin type and how much recovery you can take, and it is what the consultation is for. Resurfacing lasers treat texture and lines; vascular lasers treat red; pigment lasers treat brown; radiofrequency tightens.

Yes, with the right device and settings. The clinic uses Nd:YAG for hair removal and vessels in darker skin, PicoWay for pigment, and conservative fractional settings for resurfacing, and avoids IPL. Dr. Kuzel sets every treatment for the skin in front of him.
From none, for tightening, hair removal and most spot treatments, to a week for CO2 resurfacing. Each treatment page states its recovery, and it is confirmed at consultation.
Spot treatments feel like an elastic band snap and take minutes. Fractional resurfacing is done under topical anaesthetic. CO2 resurfacing is done under nerve blocks and sedation. Nothing is done without the anaesthetic it needs.
No. Moles are removed surgically and sent to pathology, because laser destroys the tissue a pathologist needs and can hide a melanoma. Harmless growths that are not moles can be removed by laser after examination.
Often, yes. Red and brown are commonly treated together, and resurfacing is combined with neuromodulator or filler in a planned sequence. Dr. Kuzel sets the order.
Not for cosmetic treatment. A referral from your family physician covers assessment of a medical condition or a suspicious lesion.
Vessel and pigment removal is lasting, though new lesions form with time and sun. Resurfacing results last years. Tightening lasts one to two years. Hair removal is long-term with occasional maintenance.
